Clock Range Design Objects … These timepieces have been conceived as interior design objects to lend an original touch to any decor. They are also intended to be thought provoking. The Clock range currently features 3 models produced in limited series of 500 numbered pieces. Man and Time … Man has always been concerned with measuring time. However, if we look beyond the mechanical aspects, the same shapes are always used to mark time, possibly because this helps us forget that times is unstoppable. These first three timepieces feature stylised human figures that react to the passing of time, which is represented by the round clock face. In the first model in the series, the figure is balanced on top of time. In the second model, the figure is pushing time and in the third model the figure is trying to climb up onto the clock face. Natural Materials that are Hand Crafted … We have used linden for the sculpted figures, in combination with other woods such as beech and maple, which is used on the clock face. The figures are crafted and finished by hand using linseed oil and a blend of waxes.
